Doug Cave

Doug is a saxophonist, composer and producer.
He thrives on the pursuit of gorgeous harmony, burning riffs and hardware synths.

As a saxophonist and synth player Doug tours the UK and Europe with his projects Cousin Kula and Hippo, as well as freelance excursions with many others including Hannah Williams and the Affirmations and The Allergies. Music composed, performed and produced by Doug has found its way onto national and global radio stations including various BBC channels, Worldwide FM and frequent rotation in Spotify’s Jazz UK playlisting.

Based in Bristol, Doug spends time exploring sounds, collaborating with other musicians and producing new music from his home studio. An aptitude for computers and electronics, a love of experimentation and a degree in engineering means much time is spent in pursuit of new noises.

In between all that, Doug also teaches saxophones and synthesis too - get in touch for more details and check out the latest goings on below!
